The Freedom Fund Dinner is an established tradition for NAACP Branches across the country which allows them to raise critical funds to effect change and advance the cause of civil and human rights in America. In addition, the Freedom Fund Dinner provides an opportunity to recognize community leaders, local businesses and national corporations, as well as emerging leaders — all of whom are actively challenging society to end discrimination, embrace diversity and ensure greater opportunity for all people. Thursday October 6, 2016, will be Boston CASA's "Celebrating Hope!" 5th Annual Gala with special guest Attorney General Maura Healey, who will receive the Susan J. Ganz Commitment Award for her dedication to improving the lives of children in foster care. Enjoy delicious food and drinks from select Boston restaurants, music from local artists, and learn more about how CASA is transforming the lives of abused and neglected children, one child at a time.
