Morenike E. Adams, Esq. received her Bachelor of Arts from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. Following college, Morenike attended Suffolk University Law School, where she remained active in the Family Law Clinic and Black Law Student Association, serving in several capacities including Vice-President. After graduating from law school Morenike entered the Graduate Tax Program at Boston University Law School, where she earned her Masters of Law in Taxation. While attending Boston University Law School, Morenike was employed by U.S. Trust Company, N.A. in their Estate Settlement Department where she administered estates in excess of $2 million dollars. She later went on to practice at two firms specializing in tax and family law. She is a certified member of the trial panel for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a member of the Committee for Public Counsel in the Children and Family Law Division, specializing in Care and Protection cases, along with Children Requiring Assistance matters.
In addition to Attorney Adams’ professional experience she has also maintained constant contacts in her community through her church where she serves in the leadership team. Her affiliation with the church has allowed her to mentor to youth, counsel couples contemplating divorce, advise families planning for the future, and assist single parents in obtaining custody and child support. After years of seeing the desperate need for indigent individuals to seek proper family planning, Morenike remains committed to helping the community at large. To ensure her commitment, she recently relaunched her girls group, formerly Girlz101, to the now Girlz, Esq., training girls ages 6-18, how to use their voice, their greatest gift. It is through this program that Morenike hopes to raise future lawyers and advocates for the world.
