Biography

Attorney Jean-Felix practices at Casey Lundregan Burns, P.C. where she focuses on real estate and housing law. She represents and advises residential, individual, and commercial landlords, property managers, and several housing authorities throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in all legal aspects of their operations including lease drafting, lease enforcement through various civil actions, fair housing compliance, administrative law matters, in addition to management and development of affordable, multi-family, mixed-income, mixed-use, federal and state public housing, and low income housing tax credits housing communities, aiding with implementing changes in policy for these various housing programs. Her expertise also includes real estate transactions involving different financing sources, drafting and negotiating various agreements for conveyancing and leasing real estate, as well as counseling housing authorities on procurement, reporting issues with regulators, and enforcement of modernization projects for the foregoing housing communities.

In addition to her work with the MBLA, Attorney Jean-Felix serves as Co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Real Estate Law Steering Committee Fundamentals Section where she organizes unique and immersive educational and networking programs that develop and bring together various in-house counsel and private practitioners in the real estate industry. She is also an active member of the Real Estate Bar Association and the Essex County Bar Association. Attorney Jean-Felix received her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston and her Bachelor’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University.

Attorney Jean-Felix enjoys various forms of classical dancing, hiking, skiing, biking, and cooking. She is a language and culture aficionado, speaking French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish fluently.
