Before being appointed as a Judge for the Boston Municipal Court, Serge Georges, Jr. was an experienced trial attorney, concentrating in civil litigation, criminal defense, and matters involving professional licensure and liability. Mr. Georges represented businesses and individual clients in a wide range of civil disputes, including breach of contract, violation of non-compete agreements and breach of fiduciary duties. Mr. Georges also successfully defended all types of criminal cases, including motor vehicle-related offenses, OUI, violent crimes, drug related offenses, sexual assaults and major felonies in District, Superior Court and Federal Court. Mr. Georges also represented professionals in administrative investigations before boards of professional licensure, such as the Boards of Optometry, Massage Therapy and Real Estate Professionals. Prior to establishing his solo practice, Mr. Georges was a partner at Barron & Stadfeld, P.C., as well as an associate at Todd & Weld, LLP and Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster, P.C. Mr. Georges is also an adjunct professor of “Massachusetts Practice” at Suffolk University Law School.
