Arianne Waldron is an attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Prior to working at the court, Arianne practiced at Goodwin Procter, LLP. Arianne currently serves on the governing board of Boston Community Leadership Academy, a pilot school within Boston Public Schools, is the Vice President of Boston College Law School’s Black Alumni Network and is a member of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association and the Boston Branch of the NAACP. Arianne is also co-owner of District 7 Tavern in Roxbury, site to Boston’s oldest black-owned tavern.
A product of the Boston Public School system and a nearly lifelong Dorchester resident, Arianne immigrated to Boston from Trinidad as a toddler. Arianne is an alumna of Boston College Law School (J.D.), Boston College Lynch Graduate School of Education (M.Ed.), the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (B.A., Magna Cum Laude), and Boston Latin School.
