On June 24, 2015, the MBLA hosted a Know Your Rights event in coordination with the BCYF- Vine Street Community Center. Stesha Emmanuel served as the moderator while panelists Nicole Bluefort, Asha White and Benjamin Adeyinka engaged in an interactive discussion with youth between the ages of 12 through 18 about Stop & Frisk, Domestic Violence, Harassment and Cyberbullying. On July 19, 2015, the MBLA Student Support Committee hosted over 40 MBLA members, law students of color interning, working, or studying in Boston for an informal, relaxing BBQ.  Attendees enjoyed great food provided by Perry's Gourmet Catering, drinks and great company.  We thank everyone for coming and look forward to seeing you all at the Clambake in August. On April 21, 2015, the MBLA held it's 2015 Annual Meeting at the Boston Bar Association were we elected the officers and directors for the 2015-2016 program year.  We thank everyone for their attendance. Please join the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association’s Student Support Committee at an informal, relaxing BBQ for students of color interning, working, or studying in Boston this summer.
