On April 22, 2010, the MBLA held its Annual Gala at the Sheraton Boston. The Gala featured guest speaker, Brent L. Henry, Vice President and General Counsel of Partners Healthcare. The MBLA also honored Ruth Ellen Fitch, Harry T. Daniels, Richard A. Soden and Roscoe Trimmier with the MBLA’s Trailblazer Award. The MBLA also named Judge Fredrick L. Brown, Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, as the recipient of the MBLA 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award. Over 425 guests from the legal and business community joined the MBLA to celebrate the accomplishments of African-American attorneys and judges.
