On March 13, 2014, the Minority Student Association at New England Law Boston hosted a panel entitled “Cultural Competency in the Workplace: Dealing with Clients & Co-Workers.” The panel addressed the importance of cultural competency in today’s legal environment and strategies for best representing/interacting with those from different cultural backgrounds. Panelists included Tracy Weaver Brame, Assistant Dean at Cooley Law School, Michelle Ramos-Burkhart, Owner & Founder of Verdict Works LLC and Bernard K. Guinyard, Diversity Manager at Ropes & Gray LLP.
