Northeast Legal Aid, Inc., (NLA) with offices in Lynn, Lawrence and Lowell, provides civil legal services to the poor and elderly in Northeastern Massachusetts.  NLA is seeking to hire a staff attorney.

Position: NLA is seeking a staff attorney.  The attorney’s work will focus on all levels of work associated with delivering civil legal aid to victims of domestic violence and possibly other types of work.  Duties will include, but not be limited to, client intake and representation, making effective referrals, community education and outreach, collaboration with agency partners, assisting with funding proposals, administrative duties, and contributing to grant reports.

Qualifications: Candidates must be attorneys or pending admission.  Experience delivering civil legal services to low income victims of domestic violence and fluency in Spanish or Khmer, a plus.

Salary: Dependent experience.  NLA offers generous fringe benefits.
