The Office of the Bar Counsel has an opening for an Assistant Bar Counsel. The position involves the investigation of complaints against Massachusetts attorneys, evidentiary hearings before hearing committees, and appeals to the Board of Bar Overseers and Supreme Judicial Court. A minimum 5 years of practice experience is preferred. Other requirements include some knowledge of a variety of areas of legal practice, trial and appellate experience, and superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
