The Boston College Mock Trial program is looking for volunteers to judge their mock trial regional on January 31st and February 1st 2015.
The mock trial, it is a competition where college students prepare a legal case and compete against each other as both defense and plaintiff, depending upon the trial. The role of a judge is simply to provide feedback for the teams and, occasionally, give rulings on objections. These students work very hard and they need judges to provide them will the feedback they need to succeed.
It is not necessary for volunteers to judge both days or even all day on any day, as there are trials in the morning and the afternoon. Breakfast, lunch and coffee will all be provided. If you are interested please contact Elizabeth Valentine at valenteb@bc.edu.
