The Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, in collaboration with the Boston Police Department - District B-3, presents: Know Your Rights Program: My Speech, My Expressions, My Rights This year, we are tackling the First, Fifth and Sixth Amendments. What does freedom of speech really mean in the context of school, employment and the community. Is speech always protected? Are expressions, like kneeling during the National Anthem or wearing a particular hairstyle, protected? When and where? How does this impact my interactions with law enforcement?
