On December 30, 2014 the MBLA will host "A Kwanzaa Celebration: Check Your Purse". Our event will celebrate the principles of Kwanzaa and provide an opportunity to donate items for a great cause. Dress for Success is a non-profit organization that promotes economic independence by providing women with professional attire and career development strategies. In support of Dress for Success, we are asking attendees to donate a new or used women's handbag or a check made payable to Dress for Success.
