On January 20, 2014, members of the MBLA helped prepare meals at the Pine Street Inn in honor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and as part of the MBLA’s ongoing volunteer efforts in the community.
The MBLA was profiled on WBZ. Click here to view the coverage.
“At the Pine Street Inn where a team of volunteers from the Mass Black Lawyers Association got busy making sandwiches for the homeless. ‘I think to acknowledge the work that Dr. king did and all the activists that worked with him so these are lawyers and law school students and we are cutting up onions,’ Andrea Campbell of Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association said.”
The MBLA is pleased to join the Mass Bar Association in endorsing The Boston Legal Community House Project of Pine Street Inn. Click here for more information and to donate to the Project.
