Giselle J. Joffre earned her A.B. in Economics, magna cum laude from Harvard University in 2000 and her J.D. from Yale Law School in 2003. After law school, Ms. Joffre practiced in the Litigation Department at Ropes & Gray LLP for nine years where she focused on securities litigation and defending government enforcement actions. Through her pro bono practice, she represented clients in family law and immigration matters. In 2008, Ms. Joffre served as a Special Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, where she prosecuted a variety of cases, including domestic violence and drug matters. Since 2012, Ms. Joffre has served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts.
