Cherina D. Wright, Esq. is a native of Boston, Massachusetts. She is a proud alum of Hampton University, where she received her B.A. Wright later received her J.D. and M.B.A. from Suffolk University in Boston, MA. Currently, Wright is the Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Suffolk University Law School, where she provides the strategic direction for the law school’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. These efforts include expanding access and creating a sense of belonging for faculty, staff, and students across the law school community. In 2019, Wright was recognized as one of the 50 most influential attorneys of color in Boston by GetKonnected! Outside of the office, she is the Founder and CEO of Diversitas Consultancy Firm, a diversity consultancy providing strategic advice, coaching, and training to organizations and professionals across the country. Beyond her work in the diversity space, Wright is an active member of the community. She is a current board member of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association; a council member of the ETS Legal Education Advisory Council; a council member of the Fontbonne Academy Alumnae Council; and is also the President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Chi Eta Zeta Chapter of Cambridge, MA.
