Staff Attorney – Tufts Health Plan

Overview:

Attorney will report to Assistant General Counsel and work collaboratively with attorneys in the Legal Department, to provide legal services with respect to any of the matters listed below, as well as the variety of legal matters facing the company.

Provide legal advice, research, drafting, advocacy, negotiations and oversight relating to any of the following:

• Regulatory matters
• Government Programs
• Provider Contracting
• Allied Health and PBM Contracting
• Vendor contracting
• Clinical issues
• Appeals and grievances
• Credentialing
• Litigation and disputes
• Marketing reviews
• HR matters
• Corporate transactions
• Governance matters
• Sales matters
• Tax matters
• Benefits
• Other legal matters

Requirements:

Requires a J.D. and license to practice law in Massachusetts.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years legal experience in a law firm or in-house corporate environment; experience practicing in the areas of health or insurance law preferred
