Dominic Blue is the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of MassMutual’s Law Division. Mr. Blue heads up the Corporate Law Section of the department, responsible for corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, employment, benefits, contracts, intellectual property, privacy and general corporate law practice. Mr. Blue joined MassMutual after six years at the Boston office of the law firm of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP, where his practice involved general corporate issues and acting as general counsel for various growth companies. Prior to working at Edwards and Angell, he was an associate at Boston law firm Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault LLP. Mr. Blue received his J.D. and an MBA from Boston College and received his B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., where he was a member of the varsity football team. Mr. Blue also sits on the three panel Appeals Board of the Supplier Diversity Office of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which determines minority and women-owned business status of the state’s vendors.
