Burns & Levinson LLP

Burns & Levinson LLP is looking for an Associate to join our busy employment practice, working to advocate – in negotiations, before agencies and in court — on behalf of employees and individuals.

We want to hear from you if you have:
  • Excellent academic credentials, along with strong research, writing, and communication skills;
  • 4-7 years of employment counseling and litigation experience;
  • Familiarity with practice before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and in state or federal court;
  • Current membership to the Massachusetts bar; and
  • A passion for assisting our clients, managing complex and rewarding employment matters and advocating for fairness and equality in the workplace.
Burns & Levinson supports its attorneys in developing their legal careers and emphasizes a culture of growth and opportunity. We offer a unique experience for associates, providing an accelerated learning process that results in hands-on practice and the opportunity to work directly with our amazing clients. Associates play an active role in litigation and transactional matters right from the beginning, ensuring they gain the knowledge and experience needed to advance their careers. Lateral associates are quickly given significant responsibilities, and work directly with talented partners who serve as mentors. We emphasize an “open door policy” and encourage our legal and professional staff to exchange ideas and express their views and observations in the workplace. Our Associates’ and Floor Rep Committees foster collaboration.
